PhotoGrid_1492097679615Have you seen this video: Buzzfeed: $2 Pizza Vs. $2,000 Pizza • New York City? Well, this was the video that made me crave for a really good pizza, especially when they were describing Mario Batali’s pizza. The bitterness of the burnt crust playing with the sweetness of pureed tomatoes, holy zaaaaaaaaaaaaa. 

SO, per my brother’s reccomendation, I went to Spizza @ Jalan Kayu.

Verdict: 2.5/5 

I was so excited for the pizza after my brother’s raving review and the pizzas were also cooked in a stone oven, so that should add up to a pretty good pizza right? WRONG. The pizza was so flat, as in the taste, i take a bite and all i taste are textures but no flavour, well okay, mild flavour. Ultimately, it was still pretty worthy because we only paid $12 for each pizza because we ate during lunchtime, part of some offer. The wings were okok, wouldn’t eat again though. ahh, my favourite pizza is still Domino’s classified chicken. mmm.
