Arbite @ Serangoon Garden

Mmm, I just love chill days, free and easy. I had a nice afternoon at Arbite’s, and this is what we had!

Processed with VSCO with a5 presetShirley Temple ($5), this drink was so refreshing!

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetTruffle Fries ($7) The fries smelt great, and it had a nice crispy exterior and a soft mashed interior, just the way i like my fries! Plus the sauce was a nice pairing.

20161230_152244Chicken Schnitzel ($9.90) This was part of the express lunch, hence the price, this was super worthy though, the chicken was fantastic!

The grand finale!20161230_152224Parppadelle with Mushroms & Parma Ham, button mushrooms, spinach, parma ham and cream sauce drizzled with truffle oil. ($22)

This was really expensive but oh wow, the button mushrooms were the highlight, and with it doused in that creamy truffle sauce was just the cherry on top. I have to be honest though, the parma ham, which i had great expectations for, were kind of a flop, the $5.95 cold cuts i buy at mediya are so much better.

4/5, delicious, nice ambience, good service, but just overpriced.

It was really filling and quite good, but its nothing too outstanding, flavor-wise. Simply because chicken is so common, it really takes a lot to make a recipe stand out and sadly, this is not one of them.
